We don’t have a dress code here at FRC. We want you to come just as you are, from wherever you are!
If you need assistance getting out of your vehicle and into the building, the main entrance on the east side of the building might be most helpful. There we will have a valet service for you and an elevator should you need it.
All other entrances to the building can be accessed by following the sidewalks to the south and west ends of our building into our fellowship hall area. If you enter on the northeast side of the building you will enter directly to the annex, which has no waiting area. That door will lead you directly into the sanctuary where we have plenty of pews for you to join us.
At FRC, our worship services (about an hour long) are filled with all kinds of special moments. We spend time sharing life’s burdens and blessings in moments of corporate prayer. We spend time hearing relevant, Bible-based and life-giving messages from our Pastor. We even spend time together singing, both hymns and modern worship songs, to deepen our worship.
We hope people leave our worship services feeling like they’ve had a life giving and life changing encounter with the living God. It’s our prayer that folks feel encouraged and ready to take the next steps towards Jesus in faith, whatever that be.
Nope! At FRC, we know that we’re all broken. We all struggle. We all go through things even if we try to pretend that we don’t. Sometimes we suffer because of what other people do to us. And sometimes we suffer because of what we do to other people. So there is no such thing as a perfect person, especially at First Reformed Church.
We get together as a church throughout the week for ministry and worship, not to try and impress others or avoid our misery. It’s actually the opposite – we gather weekly to find healing through relationships with others and through the means of grace God has provided through the church.
Bring your imperfections along with an open mind when you join us at FRC.
Not at all! We encourage people to give their whole lives to the church through worship and service. Offering money is just one small way our members do that. If you want to contribute to the mission and ministries of FRC, go for it! If that’s not something you’re about, no worries!
Absolutely! FRC has a thriving student ministry and children’s program. From the months of September – May, we offer a “Children in Worship” opportunity for kids 4 years old through Kindergarten during the regular service time.
Even on Wednesday night’s, FRC offers a number of ministries designed specifically for pre-teens, junior and senior high schoolers, too! Check out our webpages to learn more.
